Hi, I was recently recommended to meet Dr Duminy by a very well connected person in a completely different industry. He has high end clientele often from the UK and foreign visitors our beautiful country. I have used a Plastic Surgeon in the past and was very happy with him but after doing the research I was totally engaged in meeting Dr Duminy. My views are that plastic surgery is definitely not for the faint-hearted despite it becoming more and more common. It is something that has to be viewed from every aspect and most definitely in achieving what you the patient is wishing to achieve (within reason of course). I like that Dr Duminy is extremely talented, can be totally trusted, is calm and well respected in the industry. He has personally achieved accolades in such a broad spectrum it is nothing short of remarkable and to me a Master in the Industry. He was totally realistic re my expectations and his expertise - I truly believe him to be a top surgeon certainly in SA and possibly even abroad. From the outset one can expect a totally different experience, all the staff are an asset to the practice, genuine smiles, genuine care and commitment. I was totally amazed and relieved that Sue the Registered Nurse would be paying me a home visit the following day, she is well informed in what she does and stopped at nothing to taking time out of her personal time to happily answer my often simple questions to which I believe I just needed to hear her very reassuring voice. I am an anxiety sufferer but the entire team pulled me though the experience. I am thrilled at the outcome. I believe due to the procedure I had chosen the 'best is yet to come' by way of final outcome and I am completely comfortable in sitting this time out. My follow up visits have been no different with the friendly Salomie to welcome one at the door. It is a very comfortable - yet professional environment. Dr Duminy conducts himself in a very structured way leaving a patient feeling that you know and understand way more than before you walked in. I have a way to go regarding follow up visits. Its never a dread, always a treat. I can highly recommend Dr Duminy who works closely with his designated anaesthetists. Dr Duminy took time to stop and check on me when I got a bit anxious. That meant a lot as well as being able to hear the team working in conjunction and having the respect and trust they do for each other. Thank you to this great team! One of many super happy patients!
